Today I got the date for my tracheal shave (meaning the reduction of adam’s apple size if someone not familiar with the terms happens to read this). So it seems like they didn’t give me much time to prepare. In fact I could’ve get a date in just 2 weeks from now but that simply wouldn’t have fit in my calendar. So my tracheal shave will be 8th of May.
The nice thing about our “free” health care is that I can get the surgery with just a normal clinic cost of probably less than 100 euros. Especially since it seems that the surgery costs way more in some other countries where people will have to pay for the surgery completely.
I guess this means that I’ll actually get all the surgeries done this year (unless I’ll think I still needed breast augmentation in 2 years or so) . So basically lots of issues will be solved quite soon
I’ll probably need to get some nice scarves for summer to cover possible scars. But still, Yay!
It’s really enjoyable to read ’bout the mtf side of transition. I do know a few transwomen, but they all are on their fifties or so… And you have nice, positive way of writing ’bout your experiences and everyday life.
Thanks
Trying to stay positive about life is probably the only way to get through this process in one piece.
