Well first of all, I’m not dead 
The second good news is that my throat doesn’t feel all that sore anymore. However, it feels strange and I seem to cough too easily which I try to avoid as much as possible as it’s bad for the vocal cords.
Still one more week to go before I’m allowed to start using my voice. However, I’m a bit skeptical whether I’ll actually be able to make any kind of sound by then. Supposedly it’ll take 3 months to hear the final result. I guess only time will tell.
The tracheal shave wound has healed quite well and I’m allowed to remove the stiches this weekend. I’m supposed to remove them myself by pulling the “string” from one end. Sounds kinda scary.
Anyways still kicking and recovering
